I redid this picture since I’ll be using it in this chapter. I don’t think I’m done coloring it just yet, but I’m going to sit on it for the night. Now to sleep!
So, I finished this. It turned into a colour exercise partway through because the fic artist has a serious way with colours and I wanted to try out a similar palette, to try any not use anything off the palette I made out of an image of the aurora borealis. I only had to make a grey-violet when the skin got too actually-pink and not just lit-pink, but I’m also terribly happy with pretty much everything else.
I like the idea that Terezi, in any alternate reality, ever, would cultivate the ability to stare at you so hard that you would question whether or not she was actually blind.
Playlist was mostly metal; O’brother, an excellent local band, Isis, Kylesa, Tool, Pelican and Braveyoung.
This is very, very good. All I really have to say.

I tried to describe Dark Cloud 2, but the shitty version was almost identical to the actual version.
That game is literally full of fuck.

Countless hapless fools enter a twisted dungeon world where everything wants to kill them. Even if you’re already dead, this place holds destruction for those who enter. Thousands of enemies, mentally twisted by the enchantments of the place or animated from beyond the grave or bound by eternal demonic pacts all want to kill you and mutilate your remains. Death lies around every corner, and is often unavoidable. Bravery is idiocy, and cowardice is king. You may waste years of your life trying to simply win this game; I know that I have. Worst of all, you have nothing in the end for all your failures and setbacks. And once you win, you find that the game has sunk its claws into you so deeply that you find yourself returning, like the video-game equivalent of a battered wife, because few other games can satisfy the masochism it inculcates in you. Don’t play Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup.
i really like the idea of things like nagas and lamias but theyve been ruined for me by the internet and now i just feel really guilty every time i draw anything remotely similar
anyway runawaystuck calmasis
goes to fandom hell never to return
My dear Neophyte, everything has been ruined by the internet, it’s only a matter of future ruination for some. Draw away!
I got a commission to do a god tier template like the Wanderers from Journey for ouranje! I call them Drifts to fit with the one-syllable thing. They could also be called Floats or Strays? Finding a one-syllable synonym for “Wanderer” is difficult! Anyway, since ouranje commissioned them, I don’t get to name them, haha.
I’m pleased with them :3 Light and Space look especially pretty!! Life and Blood are cool too :O
If anyone’s interested in something like this—a custom god tier template sheet with all 12 of the the canon aspects—they are $12! In addition, I can also do fan character god tiers like this—basically, a full body portrait with a simple background, the character wielding their strife specibus, with a small animation. Those would be $23. My email is oxygenimpulse@gmail.com if you want either of these things :)
I’ve not played Journey, but these are fucking beautiful. Shine on, you crazy diamond.
I decided to finish a doodle I had done?
Omg Dirk only you can fight an army of drones and still have your hair perfect

Many classic horror icons and other disturbing creatures share common characteristics. Pale skin, dark, sunken eyes, elongated faces, sharp teeth, and the like. These images inspire horror and revulsion in many, and with good reason. The characteristics shared by these faces are imprinted in the human mind.
Many things frighten humans instinctively. The fear is natural, and does not need to be reinforced in order to terrify. The fears are species-wide, stemming from dark times in the past when lightning could mean the burning of your tree home, predators could be hiding in the dark, heights could make poor footing lethal, and a spider or snake bite could mean certain death.
The question you have to ask yourself is this:
What happened, deep in the hidden eras before history began, that could effect the entire human race so evenly as to give the entire species a deep, instinctual, and lasting fear of pale beings with dark, sunken eyes, razor sharp teeth, and elongated faces?
… Just be careful out there.
The Cyclus Pangolin Backpack is a good example of what great designers can achieve using materials overlooked by everyone else, the unique backpack is made from truck tire inner tubes, making it at once both waterproof and remarkably resilient.
This theory states that each aspect has a matched pair… an ‘opposite’, in a sense, though there are similarities and parallels between them. Each pair represents two sides of the same coin; inverting one’s role may give them powers similar to their flipped, complimentary aspect.
- LIFE and DOOM — These have already been implied to be obvious opposites by UU. Jane has been foreshadowed to invert her Life role with themes of skulls and death across her thoughts. Both of these aspects are similar in their purvey over
